About 4 months ago, Iron Factory released Norimune and Muramasa which are their legends-sized homages to the Transformers character Drift and his pre-Autobot days as the Decepticon Deadlock. They did a good job of capturing the character(s) at such a small scale that it’s insanely impressive. Their design-team’s fine details really stand out here as the remolding between the two figures really give them a different personality. I also really enjoy the cybertronian alt. mode chosen for them.

Overall Score: 7.0/10 – Iron Factory has set a nice “standard” when it comes to their legends-class figures. In fact, I think they’ve set the standard that other companies should strive to meet and exceed at this scale. However the Light and Shadow set falls a bit short with the lack of weapon storage options for Muramasa’s robot mode. I know it doesn’t sound like a big deal at face value, but when the entire line consists of figures with multiple weapon storage spots on both modes, it’s very noticeable when one doesn’t, especially as a more recent release. With that, I still recommend these homages to Drift and Deadlock as they’re solid, quality pieces
